Primer Shortage, slightly different question than normal...kind of

You can use small pistol primers in your hornet, some say they get better results with small pistol primers. They work great in my hornet rifle.

    700X in 9mm Anybody?

I used 700X when I used to shoot lead, worked well for me. I switched to jacketed and 231 because of a great deal on jacketed bullets. When they are gone, I will go back to 700X and lead.

    Classic Lee Reloaders

I do not use a lee loader, I use a 550 Dillon for all pistol, and a RCBS rockchucker for rifle. Reloading is a great way to shoot more for the same price. Get some reloading manuals and have a great time.

    Which powder ???

    Determining OAL for rifle cartridges

I resize a empty case and lightly seat a bullet and cycle the action, measure the lenth, set my dies accordling. Has always worked for me.

    bullet seating depth

Are these being loaded in 357 cases? If they are 38 cases, that could affect OAL. If these are low to mid range loads you should be ok as long as you are shooting a modern weapon. Pressure is what you have to worry about.

    Correct .22 help

I started both of my kids out on a ruger MKII. I found the trigger control was easier for them with the semi-auto. When they tried any any of my revolvers, the trigger control was awful for them to operate well. Works with most types of ammo.

Anyone use Imperial Sizing wax? How to take it off?

I have had great success with spray pam. I put brass in a zip lock bag, a couple of shots of pam, shake and rub brass around and resize. Easy to clean up and cheap. I do 50 rounds of 223 at a time that way.

    Crimping

I am not sure what a profile crimp is, but you want to roll crimp your reloads. The taper crimp is used on auto rounds,45 acp, 9 mm and such.

    Wolf laquer coated ammo

I tried it a couple of times, had extraction problems, then gave up.

    Lead bullets for 10mm ?

I don't shoot a 1911 in 10MM, but I do shoot a couple of 1911's, and all I shoot is my lead reloads. The 10MM is the same bore size as the 40S&W, and there are several lead bullets on the market. I shoot 180 and 200 grain flat points in my 40S&W. As far as finding the best bullet for your gun...
