I believe the original Winchester, which I think was the very first loading of that round. Did 890 FPS from 4 inch.

The Speer 158gr SWCHP has a larger deeper and much more fragile hollow point then the Hornady version it also has a crimping groove. I like it very much on 5.2gr Unique or 6gr of PP or N340.

If in doubt whether a cramp is adequate, I always run them through a cramp die. JMHO – YMMV Dixie.

Star-Line is a very fine company and they have done a lot for us reloaders but they really screwed up on their .455 brass 1/10th longer and it would have been a mkI that could have been trimmed to the shorter length. All Webley, Colt and S&W revolvers were chambered generously to the longer...

Nedroe I too prefer the shrouded barrel so I bought a pair of 3 inch Lady Smith M-65s. I prefer them to my 3inch M-66. I like your 19 barrel, blue is better.....

I don't know if anyone cares but Midway USA has this ammo in 20rnd boxes for $16.01 per box and free shipping over $75.00. I just thought someone might be needing a hundred rnds of SD ammo.
