I like the Kim Ahrends. I also have altamonts which are very nice as well. I just left the Ahrends on because i like the smooth grips. The altamonts i ordered have checkering and finger grooves. Too many choices i think when you include Hogue.

I found the ahrend grips on ebay. I got the info from other threads i have read on here. The seller is gripseller i believe. Its nice and easy buying there. Easy to make a payment and you get what you see.

Theyre 2 on gunbroker one was modded (bobbed hammer) and used current bid is about $600 with 7 fays left. The other is like new for $1800 or buy now for $2200..... no takers yet.

My wife ordered me a sw 686 in 6" for my annual hog eradication trip. I plan on getting a chest rig for it and doing some stalk in spot hunts after i get proficient with it. Anyway i have wanted a wheel gun for a while and cant wait to break it in.
