SHOT Show Predictions?

SIG's web site has long promised a "subcompact" version of the P320, that's about the size of an S&W M&P Compact. Maybe they will actually ship it. :)

S&W to include a labeled Warranty Return Box with every new gun sold? :)
Ouch!!! ;)

From the 'never going to happen' column:
New production 3rd Generation automatics with the integrated accessory rail on the dust cover. I'll take a 5943 TSW please!
Dang!!! :o Why does that have to be in the "never going to happen" column? :(

8 shot x frame 44 mag that will shoot the hottest loads on the marketplace

I would like to see all S&W revolvers offered with and without the IL.

I would start buying new S&Ws again, instead of paying to much for earlier versions. Will not buy any with the IL. probably nothing wrong with them, just looks bad. That and please return to the original cyl. release instead of the angle release.

To ease unwarranted concerns about lock malfunctions, S&W will introduce a new lock inside the old lock; you'll lock the new lock when you want to keep the old lock from locking, and unlock the new lock when you want to lock the old lock.
Does that mean I have to replace my "Plugs" ?

Bingo and Bingo! :D :D I'm with you all the way! :)

where is this info on a new model 547 happening. the one website has it as "confirmed" yet links to an old review of an original gun. this is feeling like a tease.

there are a few S&W revolvers that have been released recently without the IL. The 442,642 and 640. I have not found one here in NC yet but I have seen plenty online. I just do not want to pay the extra money for the little guns to be shipped to an FFL and pay the transfer fee FFL's are charging.

Sig Sauer is actually listening to their customers. Over on the Sig forum several members have submitted a petition to Sig to develop a 10mm Sig P220. Rumors are Sig will release the 10mm 220 at shot show this year. Maybe we need to do something similar to S&W.

Smith will announce that Hamilton Bowen and Jim Stroh will be in charge of all revolver assembly and final fit and finish .

S&W has shown no interest in making runs of new 3rd Gen without a firm order from a distributor. Maybe we can talk TALO or Lew Horton into placing an order?

I would like a model 627, chambered in 357 Magnum with a 8 3/8 inch barrel.

I would like if it had the fluted barrel and half lug matching the 629 Hunter above.

I should go up and talk to my good buddies at Lew Horton's. :D

I'm so old I bought guns from both Lew Jr. and Lew Sr. :) Someone up there must remember me! :D

I just flipped through the smith and wesson shotshow info that Julie golob posted on facebook. no mention of a 547, no 9mm revolvers 😔

Dswancutt: "Glock will announce that it will purchase Colt, drop it's entire polymer pistol lineup and reintroduce the classic Colt revolver line."

I don't know what you're smoking or drinking, but I want some. I won't use it personally, but will re-sell it and probably get enough to buy my entire bucket list of guns.....................and have change leftover.

As Cheech and Choing might have said "hey man, it's a little harsh, but it's really good ****." Whatever dswancutt has is WAY BETTER.
