All, Found another gem at the LGS again (I think). 27-2 in like new condition. Has all the papers and the presentation case, no turn line, sharp forcing cone, excellent bluing. S/N N478xxx Can someone help with the date of manufacture? Is this worth $900? Thanks

Thanks all. My gut is telling me it's too high. I think I'll let this one go to someone who wants it more than I do, though it will be the first one I let get away that came with the box and papers. Just seems like they overpaid for it and are now stuck trying to get their price. Oh well...

Ok, I was in the LGS this morning and they had a model 28-2 in the case. S/N N110xx. 4" barrel, original box, papers and opened tools. Very good condition - barely a turn line, just a slight hint of holster or sock-drawer wea on the barrel crown. Excellent stocks. Opinions on what this is...
