    N82 Tactical Prfessional Style Holster.

I had one of their pro models. It was very comfortable. Did not like the way you have to twist the gun to draw. I would actually pull the holster loose. Did not work for me. Sold it and bought a Steath Gear instead.

Talon grips for my Shield 40, which one?

I have the rubber ones on the Shield and several other pistols as well, one is used in competition. Similar feel to the Hogue grips I have on other guns. I was concerned that the granular ones would be too abrasive for me. Surface prep is very important for lasting adhesion. I used a hair dryer...

Are you happy with your Shield???

Mine has been awesome. Never any issues....except for the typical tight rear sight to remove. My girlfriend did not like the feel of the trigger at first but she was dead on shooting it. She wanted the LC9 instead. Buy the gun that fits her the best.

    Holster for shield ???

I have been using a Stealth Gear IWB holster. Very comfortable and fully adjustable. Bought it through Gun Digest and with a discount code it was around $80. Got it fairly quickly, less than 2 weeks.

Put an Apex Aluminum Trigger in my Shield.

    Mine installed without any problems.

    M&P Shield 9mm OWB Holster

I have a Blue Ridge Holster Discrete EDC. Fits great, contours close to the body and I do not know it is there. Took a couple of weeks to have it delivered, faster than most. Reasonably priced too.... $61 Blue Ridge Holsters - Discreet EDC

    Bought Shield, Good Buy?

The inside of your slide looks better than mine (9mm) with only a few hundred rounds. The center marking is from the jacket of the bullet rubbing. Don't be too picky about the outside finish on a carry gun. They will get scuffs and scratches, no matter how careful you are. Any holstered gun...

    Question/Opinion

I have been shooting 9mm for 20+ years. 92FS was my first pistol. Later I bought a Beretta .40 Mini Cougar for carry. I did not like shooting it. Snappy recoil and it hurt my forearm, due to a pair of plates in it from breaking it in half. I stayed with the 9mm in most of my pistols. Mainly to...

    Hogue Grips for MP Shield

As I use Hogue grips on all of my other guns that have replaceable grips, I use Talon rubber grips on all of the others. I would have liked to have the finger grooves but do not care for the added thickness. I carry my Shield IWB and OWB without any issues. The are are also on my XDM competition...

What are the ladies, or your wives, carrying?

My gf has a LC9 with the CT laser. The gun fit her smaller hands better and she liked the laser. I do not care for lasers but that was her choice. Ironically she shot my shield better even with the "broken trigger" that she disliked when trying on the guns. Next time we go to the range I am...

Any appendix holsters for the Shield?

I started with a Blade-Tech Revolution. Minimalistic but the gun digs into me some. I now use a Celtic holster. A kydex-leather hybrid with a belt clip. Easy to put on and take off, especially in a vehicle. I liked the placement of the clip over the gun, less bulk compaired to those with it off...

    Under $50 IWB Shield Holster?

I was going to order a holster from Alien Gear but was turned off by the wait time. I bought an OWB Discreet EDC holster from Blue Ridge Holsters and I am very pleased with it. I do not remember the wait time but it was not long. Most companies make to order do not seem to have any inventory...

    Under $50 IWB Shield Holster?

I normally use a Celtic IWB holster, leather and kydex. Also use a Blade-Tech Revolution which is pretty comfortable, all kydex. They are running a promo-code sale now. I had a N82 Pro holster. It was very comfortable to wear but the draw was difficult. The gun has to be twisted slightly to...

WHAT RECOMMENDATION FOR SELF DEFENSE ROUNDS FOR SHIELD? HELP!

I have Critical Defense in mine. Shoots Golden Saber just as good...everything feeds fine. I would not want a brand of a caliber that only works or does not work in a particular gun. Which I probably would sell that particular gun.

    M&P Shield 9mm

I normally shoot 115gr (usually S&B) and have not had any cycling problems. If I am shooting knock down steel, I will use 124 when I can get it.
