I shoot Winchester subsonic HP's out of mine, chrono'd at 1025 and cycled the action every time. With mini mags zero'd at 50, the Win SS shot POA/POI at 25 without touching the scope and they have the deepest HP I've seen on a 22lr. The Win ss also held quarter size groups at 25

I loaded and had good groups w/ a Hornady 148gr HBWC and 3.5gr Hodg Univ. in my 642 . . . 650-670 fps.

I have a 10.5" PC 500. My plinking load is wheel weight cast, 465gr at around 1350-1375 (31gr hodg Lil' gun). I can hit railroad plates at 100 yds open sights w/ this load.

I have a Les Baer Premier II I sent to Robar a few years ago for the NP3 finish. The finish is extremely tough and as slick as a teflon pan. After 12-14K rounds the finish its still going strong, not a chip or flake anywhere. I've heard good things about the ION bond finishes also.

I load the 75gr Hornady BTHP to magazine length with pretty good results, about .75-1" at 100yds out of my Rock River 18" Varminter

I cast a 440gr, w/ gas check it comes to 465gr, wheel weight bullet for my 500. With 31 grns of Hodg Lil' Gun, approx 1350-1375fps, I can hit Railroad plates at 100yds open sights with my 10.5" PC 500
