    New gun availability

Darn! And to think, my post spreading the word just made it worse!

    New gun availability

I went to order a new piece of tupperware, and my dealer can't find it at his distributors. He says the pre-election feeding frenzy has already begun, and he's experiencing twice his volume. Have I been behind a rock and this is going on all over, or should I try another dealer? Maybe he's...

    586 M stamp question

I know there was a recall/modification for 586 no dashes and 586-1's. Could someone please remind me: What was the reason? If I bought a used one of these without the modification, would S&W modify it on their dime? thanks, Donald P.S. I tried, but the search function didn't yield anything.

    Mod 27 configurations

That's correct; I'm looking for one with NONE of the target options. Given that I wanted it to shoot, and given its apparent scarcity (and corresponding price), I guess I should be looking for a 28 instead. But the 27's are so much purdier!

    Mod 27 configurations

Thanks, everyone, for the helpful replies. Looks like finding a P&R model 27 with a 4" barrel and target nothing won't be easy.

    Mod 27 configurations

I recently started to look for a Mod 27, and it occurred to me that the configuration I'm looking for might not exist. I'm looking for a 4-inch any-dash, target-nothing; that is, magna stocks, regular hammer spur, and grooved service trigger. I haven't run across that configuration yet. Does...

    A Real "Working" K22

That's a gorgeous thing. I agree, though, no retirement.

$600 is fair in these parts.

    Late 40's M&P Question

In this area (Southwest PA), I'd say $250-$350 all else equal. One thing that might not be equal is that there are some interesting variants (in particular the S series short action) in the late 1940s that can add some value, though perhaps only a little in the condition described w/o original...

    Brauer Bros Holster ??

Rocketdog: Does your chart list the fit for H 21? I'm looking at one that I think might fit my pre-17, but I'm not sure. I appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you, Donald

    Mdl.15

That's an excellent find at an excellent price. I'm not sure what you mean by the multiple serial numbers, though.
