K-22 Model 17-2 Price Check

A guy has offered me a Model 17-2 and wants me to make him an offer. His description: 98% condition, really faint turn line and bluing is like a mirror. Original wood grips. No box.
What would be a fair price to offer him ? Thanks!

If it really is 98%, It would probably bring $600+ on one of the online auctions these days. I would want to look it over close before making an offer. If it is as he discribes, offer $450 or $500.
If he declines, and you really want it, you can always go higher.

Thanks. I offered him $425.00 and never heard back so........ I couldnt find one that actually sold on gunbroker for $500.00. See lots that people are asking that much but, no bids. I'll see if he responds back and if we can agree on a price, I will check it out in person tommorrow. If not, I'll keep looking : ) C

I think it would be tough to get a 98% 17 on GB for $600. Seems like they want closer to $700+

I see 17s for $650 and more at local gun shows.
