I've never cleaned a firearm before so I'll have to check out Youtube. I've heard that Frog lube is good and highly recommended on here. As far as cost goes, I just want to pay for only what I need if that makes sense.

As a new owner, can anyone recommend a cleaning kit?

I had no idea! I fired mine for the first time this weekend. I shot 100 rounds and just the second bullet got stuck but other than that, it fired flawlessly.

It's new and you had to clean and lube it?

It's great that you are supporting your LGS. I do too but that price seems to high from what I'm seeing at other stores.
