I paid $499 for my 9mm Shield last week and was happy to be able to get it. I have absolutely no problem supporting my local gun store. What if there were no local gun stores? Who wants to buy a gun without holding it first and giving it a thorough examination.

One of my LGS's, Shooters Outpost has them for 399.99. Best pricing isn't always on the net. I like it they don't gouge as well

Thanks for the heads up. I purchased one as well. Most shops around Michigan are charging retail when you can find them plus tax. so $449 + 6 % Tax. I thought the gun broker deal was pretty darn good!

BW Outfitters out of Anita, IA has the 9 and .40 in stock. Prices are a bit higher than most of you have posted. $550 per, last I checked. But, they are there, in stock and ready to be yours. They also have spare mags for the shield in stock, as of Tuesday.

Price wise I got both of mine for 469. When I got the 40 I got an extra magazine & including tax it was 516 out the door. Its a great pistol, but id of felt bad paying more then that for it..

On a side note when I sold my shield 9mm I sold ot for 950 & included 500 rds of ammo (all sourced at walmart at regular prices of about 25 bucks per 100 rds).

I was in Bill's Gun Shop in Robbinsdale, MN late yesterday and they had two Shield .40's in the case. $439 each.

They must have listened to you as their website has 40's listed for $549.
