shield Looks like it was the little round part that's sits on top of the spring went in on an angle when re installing the rear sight and jammed up the striker block. I had to push up on striker block from underneath to get it out.

Ok I was able to get the rear sight off with slide attached to gun and bang out the striker blocker took 3 taps with a punch. It's my fault for rushing it and putting slide back on gun without checking it first(I was in a hurry to pick my son up from school). It's all back together now and works...

The trigger does move, just not enough to fire and when I do pull and release trigger slide slightly moves front and back. The striker block does not depress and can't remove the slide to work on fixing the problem.

I just installed an APEX M&P Ultimate Striker Block in my M&P Shield and now I can't pull the trigger or get the slide off. Any help greatly appreciated.

I also have an S&W 1911 SC E series, 7 round mag loads and works fine, but the 8 round mag is real tuff to load if slide is closed and will not properly feed the first round unless I only load 7 rounds. I just ordered a few Wilson Combat mags, when I get them will let you know how they work with...
