    CC options

Well, I went and looked at the Bodyguard .38, and I ended up buying it. Other than having a pretty stiff trigget, I really like the gun. It takes some getting use to, but I've put about 100 rounds through it, and I'm pretty good with it. Also, based on the suggestions in this forum, I also...

New Member from the backwoods of Washington State

Hi Steve, Welcome from Illinois! I have visited Washington State a few times, and it is nice. The Columbia River Gorge is great!

No, I haven't looked at it yet. I did look at the .380 ACP and the Springfield XDS 45, but to be honest, the J frame just fits me better than either of these. I'm going to take a look at Centennial though. Thanks

I am looking at a J frame revolver for my CC options. In particular, I've narrowed it down to the Bodyguard .38 Just wanted to get some opinions...Good, bad, indifferent....

    M&P .40 or .45

I think it is more of personal preference. I have both the M&P .40 and .45, and both shoot nice. While I agree with others that the 45 does have a little softer recoil, I myself am more accurate with the .40......Granted, I just bought my .40 and have only put about 100 rounds through it so...

Took the wife to the Range to shoot my Shield

I'm with you! I've been married for 25 years as well, and mine just recently expressed that she wants her own hand gun....I have had her to the range twice to shoot....Today, she shot my .40 cal one time, and then handed it back to me! She gravitated toward a 380

    Gun for the wife

You make some good points, and no I don't think we have ruled out a revovler. She has been to the gun shop twice now and shot several different guns....One point i forgot to mention is that she'll use the gun for concealed carry as well...I'll take a look at the pic you posted. thanks

    Gun for the wife

All, Thanks for the input guys. I took thje wife to the gun shop that I'm a member of, and she was able to shoot a 380 and a 9m....So far, she has not made a solid choice, but it looks like she is leaning toward the 380 as she feels like it fits her better and is more comfortable...

    Gun for the wife

Looking for suggestions for a good gun to get the wife. She has shot before, and she can handle a firearm pretty well. But, I'd say this gun will be pretty much home defense. I'm think about a 380

Yea, that doesn't sound right at all. Please let me know what the resolution is as I'll keep an eye on mine for the same issue

First Shots thru New M&P 40

Hi, I just read you post in another thread about how loose it was and the issues you are having. Mine is no where near that loose. Nothing like that at all. I would definitely take it to a gun sho and or contact SW to exercise the warranty.

First Shots thru New M&P 40

Mine is a little loose. I noticed that when I bought the gun as well, and the gun shop i bought from told me that was normal. Now, with that said, with the slide back and locked, it's loose, but not too loose.
