Have Dawsons on most of my pistols....I even changed out the front sight on my .45 Shield (my edc).... I love having that nice, thin, bright front sight with the stock rear, plenty of dailight showing and is easily picked up... A lot of front sight I have trouble seeing, but not these... As...

Wife got me the .45 Shield for an early Christmas present, as the Main exchange at Camp Lejurne had a sale on... I have a 9mm Shield that I've been carrying for about a yr, so i was familiar with the format... What a Sweet hear to shoot!... Not really much more recoil than her .45 1911...

Who is loading for their .45 Shield? What have you found that it likes? I have a bunch of 185 Lead semi wad cutters loaded, they operate in 2 other .45, one an M&P full size and the wife's Sig compact 1911, but the Shield doesn't always function (extract and eject) with them.... Functions...

Bought the same gun you did from Bud's.. Gun needed to be cleaned...Not a big deal, would have done the same thing with a new gun from the factory... The take down lever is a bit loosy goosy, but stays in the "down" position.. Not a big deal either.. The sights are dimmer than they would...

Had the Sheild at the range yesterday.. Grip does matter...Finally found the grip needed to center my groups up from the low left (maybe 3 inches low and left), that I had been shooting...I don't have any trouble shooting under 2 inch groups at 7-10 yards with it... Does exactly what I expect a...
