That is probably as good as you can get. For some reason, 642 is a few bucks cheaper. Go see Scott at Walden’s on Gordon Hwy. He will treat you right and give you a fair price. He can also do transfers if you decide to buy on line.

I too just bought a 642. Oh well... I will have to get another j-frame before the end of the year. Are 642/442 the only one without a lock?

I have had this Tucker leather holster for many years. Cover Up - J-Frame I can use it comfortably in “appendix” position only when I’m close to my ideal body weight. When I gain 10-15 lb I switch to pocket carry.

So, how do actually carry your speed-strips? If you are using a pouch, is it on your strong side? Or, do you just drop it in your strong side pocket?
