    Model 640 .357 magnum?

I carried my 640-1 for quite awhile and it's a great gun. Last year I started carrying a 340 m&p just because it's so much lighter. I take both to the range and do most shooting with the 640. I shoot the 340 enough to stay comfortable with it, their both great guns I think. The 640 is definitely...

Is it ok to begin reloading w/ a progressive set up?

Yes, it's ok, and it's plenty safe as long as you're a little mechanically inclined. The setup may take a little fiddling. As others have said there's no reason you can't load one at a time on your progressive. The rules are the same, you always need to pay attention to what you're doing. I...

    Component price gouging!

This whole panic buying of guns and ammo is ridiculous and the people doing the buying are cutting their own throats and temporarily everyone elses. If you look at commodity prices over the last nine months, copper, lead, etc, they are all in the dumpster. That will eventually make its way...

    Grips on my 25-2

Onetonson56, thanks for the offer. I'm completely happy with the grips and revolver, just curious about details of the grips. Besides, if I was to sell them, I'd have to get at least $30.00 for them. (I don't know how to do the smiley thing). Thanks, Mark

    Grips on my 25-2

Yes, that's the hard edge, but it isn't from clamping. It's definitely left from machining the wood. You can't see it in the photos, but on the upper area of the grips, around the cutout, there is a hard edge. I'm used to seeing them smoothed out. The finish is nice and intact. As I mentioned in...

    Grips on my 25-2

Hi all, I hope I have posted a couple of picture below, of the grips on my 25-2, 1966-67 vintage. It's difficult to show in a photo, (for me anyway), but the grips have some machining marks on them that I haven't noticed on my later (70's) vintage guns. You can see at the bottom rear part of...
