    These Retro Combats on my K frame 617 were my choice. I got them unfinished and gave them a tung oil rub and then a Tom's 1/3 Mix wax.

    I wonder what a 45 36 would fit? Perhaps a K frame 6"? I wonder about full lug? I'm talking about a 617.

    Well, I got mine today; about 7+ weeks. They are nice. I got unfinished Maple and have put 2 coats of Tung oil on so far. I will let it set for a few days and then do another coat. Unfinished Finished

    I'm in my 7th week. They said 5, but that didn't happen. I ordered unfinished Maple.
