    SD9VE Trigger and Spring match?

I appreciate that dr. I typically look at forums as a place to discuss the topic, in this case the sd. When asking questions about specifics is met with a response like Willcoe gave, my question is what are we supposed to discuss here, our feelings? Cripes, I have a wife for that. I have...

has anybody tried the Apex trigger with the Galloway spring kit?

    Grip plug?

I've used these in 2 different ARs over the years with A2 grips, and never had one drop free. In fact, to properly seat them takes some effort, I'd bet the ones you found on the ground weren't seated properly. At least that was my experience with them. Mine were both the DPMS versions.

    Magpul MOE Stock VERY tight

it's hard to tell from the attached drawing since there it's not dimensioned, but perhaps there is a dimensional difference in the bottom grooved portion of the tube (where the adjustment pin holes are) and that's where the hangup is in the commercial stock on mil-spec tube. It would almost...

    Issues with JP springs?

I know it's been mentioned they're all different, but I'm using the stock hammer and trigger and using the JP reduced yellow springs on both and have not had any issues whatsoever. Have run Wildcat, Federal, Aguila and CCI without issue.

    Bore snake and NOW...

I use a product much like this but more refined called the "Patch Worm". they have slip on spacers for different calibers, and they even have felt button scrubbers that work just like a brush. I've used mine for years and much prefer it to a rod.

Just placed an order for Tacticool22 6" Shroud & Vice Jaws

Seems real inconsistent, I put mine in the vice jaws and it came right off, very little effort! I got lucky, I guess.

    Metal upper

You are right King, we're all welcome to our own opinions. I was just proposing a thought of an aftermarket part to improve the gun. As others have said, it was never meant to be a MOA gun, as wasn't the 10/22, but some of us make them that way via aftermarket parts. That's all I was saying...

Your reply proves my point that the receiver flexes. The same point most of y'all are saying doesnt happen.

Well, I believe accuracy is about repeatability, or more to the point consistency. I have noticed that when I let my son shoot the 15-22 off of a bipod the point of impact shifts from when I shoot it offhand, or braced, not by the forearm. This tells me that the upward pressure from the bipod...

I could give two kicks about the FA, that was a bit of an afterthought of my OP, but if an alloy upper could improve the accuracy to say even a stock 10/22 then I'd be up for that. This weapon isn't cheap, I'd like to see better accuracy for the money.

I had one, sold it several years ago. Wanted a dedicated piece. it wasn't all that reliable, think it was the magazines.
