This may no longer be an issue, but from what I’ve read it was t too uncommon for early two piece barrels to fail and launch down range. Haven’t heard of this in a long time. Probably fixed.

Wow! That’s a lot of Binks for a.32 cal revolver. I would like to see a 3-4” with adjustable sights. Better yet, maybe a K frame with 327 thrown in the mix.

I have my Dad’s 39A that was the first gun I ever shot. He bought it new in the early 1950’s. It is pre Golden. Looks like the bottom picture. Will definitely shoot with any bolt gun I ever shot.

Tried a 25-06. Would now go to .257 Roberts. With newer powders it can be pushed to near 25-06 velocity. It so does recoil. Depends a lot on what you want to shoot. Whitetail or Moose, or grizzly?
