Eyes aren't what they used to be

Not fibre optics but these work for my old eyes Glasses don't cut for me when I'm shooting.... these are big dot front and rear sights..The front dots nearly impossible to NOT see...the rear with the shallow v groove makes it very fast to find the front sight..I was loosing the front sight...

I can see the front sight once again

I drifted the sights off of my pistol with a brass punch and hammer in order to measure the sights dovetails. I measured them with a micrometer. A caliper or machinists rule (100ths of an inch) would get you in the ball park as well. I sent them those measurements as well as pictures of the...

I can see the front sight once again

I don't know but the 325 night guard comes standard with the small dot tritium front sight..they also make the big dot sight for the S&W the 640 and the 686 . There was no standard part number for my application (odd ball Colt 1911 model) .. I sent them an email with some measurements and a...

I can see the front sight once again

I just installed some XS express big dot tritium sights...They are advertised as being a combat fast acquisition orientated sight..but as luck would have it they work equally well at solving some problems for us more experienced (read older) shooters. I got tired of trying to line up the fuzzy...

    Trigger On My 340 PD

I've had something similar happen to a revolver. Occasionally the action would bind up and then return to normal. Upon dis assembly I discovered a flake from the nickle platting had gotten between the cylinder and the yoke. A good cleaning restored normal function.

This might give you an idea of repair costs by S&W

it came with the old parts and a "thanks for your business..give us a call if something is not right" letter in an envelope. I've managed to get to the range finally..fired a hundred rounds each of Remington 38 sp + P 158 GR. semi-JKTD HP and Remington 357 magnum 125 GR. semi-JKTD HP. The...

This might give you an idea of repair costs by S&W

    586-4 problem

D/A = double action to me ...to you also? DA...you pull the trigger the cylinder rotates and then stops while this is happening the hammer travels to the rear and then falls forward to fire the round..it does not stay to the rear...perhaps I fail to understand your meaning..or you meant...

Best OWB holster for full size M&P .40??

I bought this for tortilla my Colt 1911. Why ?.. 1)it's lined..if you ever want to strip the finish off your pistol let me know . I'll let you use my unlined bianchi holster. It won't take long 2) I got it with belt slots sized to fit my belt. which means a much more secure fit. The grip is...

    .35 rifle bullets for a .357

hmm..let me think...the OP stated the .35 jacketed rifle bullet is actually .358....no I don't think I need to slug his barrel to say that's over sized for a 357 bore revolver. which is quite normal for a lead bullet...yes..for a jacketed bullet I'm not so sure...I had always understood that...
