Looks like you might be missing a pin. The big spring and black pin go in the safety selector hole. And the small spring and a small brass pin goes in the back one as a detent for the breakdown pin. I almost lost these bits changing my grip the other day

i was using spent casings until one got jammed in the chamber. looks like it bends them up to much

I had mine on order for 2 months and im picking it up today finally. The guy at the store said that most manafacturers are downsizing because of the economy and S&W are one of them. Instaid of constantly stockpiling everything there just doing a run of certain guns then making a different one...
