Houston area stores always seem to have plenty of both (unless you're trying to buy 2000+ rounds)......they just recently started offering Federal .40; used to be only Winchester.

Hell, here in TX, WallyWorld has boxes of 100 Winchester White Box 9mm rounds for around $21, $28 for .40 S&W

Is this "torsion" spring you refer to the same as the "pigtail" spring?

I've never done any smithing.....but plan to polish the trigger parts as outline on this thread. Will emery boards be all I need? And which emery boards? Thanks
