Thanks for the input guys. I am going to be out of state for a couple weeks (take a time out:D) and when I get back I'll take another look at the other one. I know it's just as good, I just didn't like the smooth target grips.
Thanks again
Walt
That's a nice looking K 22 also. The guy I bought mine off of had a pair of these, the other one has smooth target grips on it. I'm thinking very serious about going back to get the other one.

Maybe I didn't say it right Charlie, he used a grinder on them. I couldn't believe how tight it was and such a beautiful trigger. My newer Smiths can't touch the trigger on this. I'm happy. :)

I know I didn't steal this but I wanted it real bad. :) It has all matching numbers except for the stocks, I have them too but the original owner thought he had to have a finger groove ground into them.:( Anyway, it's mine now and I love it. Do you think I did bad at $625.
I just picked up an older K 22 in pretty good shape except for the grips. K1298xx, how can I find the date it was produced. The ordinal owner ground a pinky finger groove in each grip. Where would be the best place to find a set of stock grips.
You can tell I'm new to this stuff, I'm old so...
I like the looks of that. Picked mine up today, runs smooth as silk and has a great trigger pull. The only problem I'm having is it shoots about 2" high at 50'. Elevation is adjusted all the way down. Not to happy with that part, I hate to put an optics sight on it. :( Did you shoot yours with...
