K 22 Date & Questions

I just picked up an older K 22 in pretty good shape except for the grips. K1298xx, how can I find the date it was produced. The ordinal owner ground a pinky finger groove in each grip. Where would be the best place to find a set of stock grips.
You can tell I'm new to this stuff, I'm old so I needed an older gun.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like 1951.The grips turn up here at times.Gunbroker and eBay are worth checking too.

Thanks arjay, do you know what that period grip called for the K 22?

The smaller grips that are the same size as the grip frame are k frame diamond Magnas and the larger ones are k frame diamond targets.
