I still use my Dad's Lyman/Ideal No.5 powder measure , no need for a newer one !

I am looking for a Bianchi 5BHL for a S&W 60-4 ,3" full lug barrel. Very good or better condition, RH.

Being an 82 year old handloader,I have simplified my proceedures to insure increased safety . I use the RCBS Little Dandy powder measure and rotors for all my pistol loads, checking with a scale with each setup. Fast and accurate!

I have a 24-3 with all of the combat features , a 6 1/2" barrel and round butt, in 44 Special. One nice revolver.

My assessment was premature - in part. Two Hornady Custom 44 Mag. 240 gr. XTP rounds would just chamber in two of the six chambers. No reloads in W-W brass,or new Starline brass, would come close to chambering.Apparently an anomaly. Thanks for your comments. John

The cylinder of my 24-3 ,44 Special, easily accepts 44 Magnum cartridges . Is this common to all 24-3 44 Specials ? Spooky !

Please inform as to date of manufacture of a Model 24-3 serial number AEM 0910. How rare is a 24-3 combat version with a 6 1/2" barrel,round butt, white outlined rear sight ? Thanks, John

Take a look at the Bianchi 5BHL, works for me with a 60-10.

WTB : Looking for a very good +, Bianchi 5BHL holster for my Model 60-4,3" barrel,full lug. Left handed.

Herrett's Shooting Stars work for me. Look for on ebay. There is a great pair listed currently.not mine.

I Just called S&W and got a different answer on +P Rating. The Tech said that the 60-4 was never tested for +P ammo by the factory,therefore they cannot comment on +P capability.Tested only for 38 Special loads.

Winchester " White Box" 240gr. is good stuff ,$38 per 50 at Wally World.

Is the 60-4 suitable for +P ammo ?

Thanks for your input folks. I will be carrying both 4" and 6" Model 19's , primarily for field use.

Has anyone used this holster for a K/L frame S&W ? If so,your thoughts about it.
