CCI has a new product on the market that was developed specifically for the S&W 15-22. It comes in a pack of 300 rounds. At present it is only available at Cabela's but will be available generally in Dec. FBB:)

to Maverick88: The CCI Blazers are excellent,cheap and accurate. I use them in my S&W 15-22, my SIG 522 and my PUMA PPS-50. I do not intend to ever use any of the others again. The CCI Mini-Mags are good but expensive and the same for Aguila Maximums. Fred

Twinkey, The message they sent you is not the answer to your question. There is no way to remove the hand guard. They referred you to a way to remove the barrel. If you want to clean the outside of the barrel, you can take off the plastic end piece by pushing in the tabs and pulling it out...
