    M&P 15-22 Safety alert from S&W

Interesting I think you measured in inches as I measured mine and got 0.039-.0405". And I also measured the gap on the barrel end and bolt through the ejection port and got 0.0015 with and without a casing in the chamber (no change). Note that the area around the chamber on the barrel is...

    Ambitious Safety

I got the Ambidextrous safety sold by Brownells that is meant for the 15-22. It has all the parts you need, easy to install and it works perfectly.

    tactical scope riser

I would suggest that you try amazon and search scope riser! Amazon is always my first stop for shooting accessories.

    Another extraction issue

I had some FTE issues with mine, I adjusted the ejector and volquartson extractor. And i have not had one FTE. I believe the issue is the ejector design. I found it to be easy to hit it when cleaning the barrel and this can possibly bend out of alignment by accident. I know now to check it every...

    M&P15-22 trigger issues

If its always on the last round of a mag, I maybe barking up the wrong tree but it sounds like to me that maybe your bolt could be binding / dragging on your hold open mechanism. Try shooting till your last round is loaded but you have not tried to fire, drop the mag while checking if the bolt...

    M&P15-22 trigger issues

Have you tried just loading 1 round in a mag and then cambering, does it fire then? Both ways from hold open release and full charging handle to load from bolt closed. Is the bolt forward fully forward when you have FTF?

    M&P 15-22 FTF

Ya most quiet subsonic ammo info even says not for semi auto's as it may not cycle properly.

    M22a/ Plunger? YES

So the short of it... Its the same size and shape except no anti-rotation tab. Easy to install but pain in the behind to get out as nothing much to get a hold of to pull it back. It will be good to keep as a back up to the oem if it goes awol at the range.

    M22a/ Plunger? YES

I hope it was a glitch too as I will in the future some time get some from them but in the mean time I found out from Brownells tech's the M22a spring measurements are .825 in length and 0.105 diameter and my 15-22 spring measures 0.827 and 0.108. I did an order with Brownells for spare parts...

    M22a/ Plunger? YES

WHAT???? But I was on the site just the yesterday and now there are all kinds of new shipping options that are better priced then I had before. I think someone saw my post and made some adjustments! Or maybe there was a site glitch that needed to be fixed.

    M22a/ Plunger? YES

Yup, my thoughts exactly! I eventually will be ordering parts from Brownelles as they have the parts for my other rifle's that I want to have on hand. I may just get this plunger (as its only $3) to test out at the same time. If I do this I will let others know how it goes.

    M22a/ Plunger? YES

I'm doing replacement part research and when looking at the parts of the M22A about the spring I noticed that the plunger looks very similar, and I also had heard that the plunger on the early 15-22's did not have the the tab on it and I was curious, if anyone has looked into this. Secondly if...

    M22a/ Plunger? YES

Does anyone know if the extractor plunger for the S&W M22A fit our 15-22s? I see many say the spring for the M22A is compatible, and looking at photos of the plunger on Brownelles it does look similar less the tab.
