Can't speak for the Troy, but the MI did not work on mine. From what I have read, the Troy may work with some modification to the rail itself. The UTG worked fine on mine, but lots of people seem to hate UTG, even though it has been fine on my rifle.

I have owned both. I kept the Core 15 as my AR 15, and now have an M&P 10 in place of the M&P 15. You cannot go wrong with either the M&P 15 or Core 15. Here is a pic of my M&P 10 with the UTG quad rail and T-Pod by Mako Group. Took it off of my AR 15 so I could put 60 rounds through it. Happy to report quad rail and shoulder both withstood the pounding...new muzzle brake can't get here fast enough, though!!

I bought the MI hand guard when I bought my M&P 10. It seemed to hang up at the delta ring end at the gas tube during installation. I was unwilling to try and force it for fear of damaging the gas tube. I elected to go with another option I found.

I believe a few of the folks with a dislike for UTG products were well-intentioned and trying to inform me I might of made a poor decision when I bought my quad rail. I appreciate their input, even if it might not be what I, or others who own the same rail, want to hear or agree with. I'm on...

There will always be people who make stupid posts just because they have nothing better to do. I'm old enough to know the difference between useful information and bull****. I read reviews from multiple sites and multiple people. They ALL said the same thing..they were happy with their purchase...

This one was made in the USA, so I guess that is something. It went on seamlessly, but will obviously now test it with skepticism. Any recommendations on a 2-piece quad that isn't junk? That's why I made my original post, but no one responded.

2 piece quad rail by UTG In case anyone is interested, I was able to find and install a 2-piece quad rail made by UTG on my M&P 10. Haven't added my bipod yet, as I'm still waiting on an adaptor from Versa Pod.

I just bought an M&P 10, and wanted to put a 2 piece quad rail on it. I picked one up from my LGS, but it doesn't fit. After doing some research, it seems a simple drop in quad isn't so simple. I was hoping to avoid changing the gas block in order to add the rail. Any suggestions? All help is...
