It said, YOU ARE STUPID!

I have been playing with this expensive toy for a while now, not impressed with poor accuracy issues. Nothing that more money cannot fix, right? Several outings, several hundred rounds of various types and weights, same scattered results!

Decent scope and mount, decent match trigger, decent this and that and the thing won't shoot any better groups than my mini14, which is ug, 3-4 moa, get a few good ones, then a few bad ones, gee, I must suck badly! Maybe so!

Hell with it! I figure if I am already into this thing up to my neck I might as well hang myself, right! Never had a freefloat gun, supposed to be the Hot Stuff! I need to spend more money, right? I have asked just how much better these are but never got a good measured answer!

Getting things lined out, got a Troy Low Pro gas block, got some extra roll pins for the gas tube just in case. Get the gas block and decide I don't like it because it just has a couple grub screws with no positive alignment for the port. Best to dimple the barrel, need dimple jig for precision alignment and security! Ordered!

Got all this stuff, waiting for funds to get a new tube thingie, looked at them all I could find to fit the , I like that one from MI, the keymod one, yep, that will work, sell some stuff on Ebay to help pay for it! Done, ordered!

I still got some work to do in prep, so while waiting for it I tear down the gun to do the gas block fitment and dimpling today, remove the delta ring and such, I still have no idea just how this new tube is gonna line up or what it will need. I just strip it all and find a decent set in the big vice I have sitting on the floor so I can try and get the barrel nut and delta ring off using a downward force with my cheap barrel wrench.

Got everything situated and ready to break that nut loose with downward force! Just about fell on my head!

I could have removed that barrel nut with my hand! F-me! What is up with that! I mean nothing,NO TORQUE!

Gee, I wonder if that could be the problem?

I'm glad you posted this. My accuracy isn't what it used to be. That makes me wonder if I have the same issue.
Thanks, l was about ready to trade mine for a Windham Weaponry 308 ;)

Dang, that sucks, but good that you figured it out. Yeah, that could certainly cause some substantial accuracy issues for certain!

Was your rifle that inaccurate from the time you bought it, or did it get worse over time? Now I'm wondering about mine lol
