I lust after the M39; I'd love to get one.

I like the lines and "look" of the non-TSW gun. I don't think you loose much by going to that version, mostly because, IMHO, most folks aren't properly trained on flashlight applications (fighting with a hand held or weapon mounted light), so for most, I'd say the non-TSW guns are the way to go.
