Mine was an early one and suffered the loose barrel problem. S&W fixed it. No more problems. A great shooter and definitely a keeper. But then, all mine are keepers.
I use Bullseye for .38 wadcutters. I have an old Star loader set up for them and the charge bars are calibrated for Bullseye. The charge bars drop exactly what they are marked.

I ordered some from a site called Precision Delta (dot com). Haven't received them yet. You might give them a look. I don't like the coating on the Hornadys.
The only problem I ever had with the Insight laser was I would find it on after carrying in a pocket holster for a while. Kept running the batteries down. I finally just removed the batteries. I doubt that the Crimson Trace would be any different.
