    Had one of the very early 41's, was a VH8, Timing was off and bluing was not good at all, was a grayish color in places. Sent it back and it came back marginally better, sent it back again, came back with the very best SA trigger I ever felt. Kept it for years, just to heavy for hunting carry...

    Doc, this one has all those features with a SN of ALC02XX. Now to figure what is a fair price, if you guys think it is a Lou Horton model. thanks for the help

    I have one that I purchased new in the mid to late eighties that I am going to sell, How can I tell if it is a Lou Horton special as I do not want to mislead anyone in the upcoming ad ? FWIW, it is a k frame round butt if that is any help
