    Bodyguard 380...the first problem?

It looks to be the firing pin safety plunger leg that extends out of the bottom of the slide (mimmed part of course). Lock back the slide, turn it over butt up and see if there is a 'white' metal plunger sticking out of slide. The lever is 'L' shaped and goes over the firing pin under the rear...

    M41 barrel removal/replacement

The pivoting latch you describe is called a Pawl...it is forced into the notch of the barrel by a heavy spring and a cam nub on your trigger guard when you close it into the frame. The pawl is supposed to move freely (but can be bindy at times) and sometimes moves forward and gets in the way, as...

Model 52-2: What's the Problem and What's It Gonna Cost Cost to Fix this 52-2

The back strap was made from carbon steel (439 series were also aluminum). The hole's primary purpose was to release the main spring cup with a drift if stuck. Inside edge has a taper counterpart to hold the cup from slipping. Most of the factory backstraps had a loop on the end for the lanyard...

    Sigma GVE vs Sigma VE

No difference except the G stands for Government Model (aside from green frame)...M&P's also have off standard color (brown) for their full size 45 model

    Rattling mags

Mag Rattle Look thru the inspection holes on side when loaded....you'll see they rounds are'nt staggered in (double stack mag) they are resting all on top of themselves. this causes rattle. Aside from noise, no function issue.

My M41 quit on me today...

No fire 41 Suggestion....remove stocks, place a unloaded mag in while looking at the right side of frame....observe the magazine disconnect lever while slowly pushing up on mag until it locks in. If the mag disconnect does'nt follows up with the magazine and the trigger bar also does'nt ...

    M&P15r Safety Selector Issue

Sorry...the company at this time has decided not to go with that option at this time. Just make sure to oil your chamber occasionally with the steel cases and sometimes corrosive powder/primers....they tend to stick in the 5.45

    M&P15r Safety Selector Issue

Easy slip-up to make with a new weapon. Safetyminded instincts suggest not to cock it until your ready to fire. You were in a house not the range. I work at the factory in the range.....we test every safety before accepting.

    M&P15r Safety Selector Issue

Was the bolt 'cocked'? The hammer needs to be engaged with the trigger and disconnector for the safety to swing.

    Rattling mags

Mag Rattle It will do this with most over the counter rounds because the rounds are basically laying on top of each other touching only on cartridge base where the ejector groove is. The round can flop side to side slightly but will not hurt or comprimise the function at all. Sometimes you can...

    model 41 rear sight

Sorry, listed the hex screw being on the left in post...it is on the right of the base body. When you slide into dovetail, just make sure screw is "back out" so it will not drag in dovetail.
  15. G

    model 41 rear sight

Straight forward, & quite easy. there is a small hex screw for retaining the sight in the dovetail on left side. Slides in either direction. Easily adjusted for windage. You may need a soft headed hammer to drift it thru the dovetail to center (perferably from left to right)
