Took it to the range today to shoot for the first time.
Shot the COLT 168 grain
and the Bear 145 Grain steel cased stuff.
Shot 180 rounds. Perfect. Took me about 10 rounds to sight in a red dot, and fromt here on at 50 yards i was hitting inch groupings, and at 100 yeards after re zeroing...
Are you using the front and rear back up sights magpul mounted on your gas block? Not the iron ones? just curious? I want to try but im afraid they will melt.
First time ive ever owned a rifle - and im looking to put on a set of backup sights that can fold down. I still have the stock gas block, and will be using a trs25 bushnell reddot for the time being.
Anyone have any tips on what would be some great sights to buy that would work well with this...
