Great gun. I love mine. The trigger will smooth out after a few trips to the range. I found recoil only to be an issue with the high end +P loads with 158g bullets. I too carry front pocket and prefer the factory grips.

Thanks for the info. I was wondering why that nub was sticking out of the grip. I thought it was just a design oops. The wood grips greatly factored into my decision to purchase. I will follow up on the firing pins. Thanks
