You have to be a member to view the link. I am a member and that gun is ruined, IMHO. The porting job is to large and detracts from the inherent beauty of the gun. And 800 is way, way, way over priced, again IMHO.

That is a terrible thing to do to a 10xx series pistol. It just doesn't make any sense.

With that many ports of such a large size, they've effectively made that into the equivilent of about a 1" barreled pistol.
So much for the potential power of the 10mm.

As a diehard 10MM fan and 1006 owner , that puppy is thoroughly and truly screwed up . 10MM in the 10XX series of pistols does NOT need to ported WTH ...

I can't wait to get my S&W 10mm!!

I am leaning towards a 1066, 1076 or 1006.

Having a 1006 and seeing that makes me sick.
I rarely make any changes that cannot be fully reversed.
The truly sad thing is that someone did that to a relatively low production gun. It's not like the 1006 was made for 20, 30 or even 50 years like some other frames.
I guess each to his own but mine will stay the way S&W made her.
