I got my mod.34 fired with Pachmayr grips, but without the usual Pachmayr insert ; you can only find the name Pachmayr at the bottom of the grips. It's a square butt made in the nineties (BEYxxxx). Do you think that it was originaly sold by S&W with these grips ? I would prefer to fit it with...

My avatar shows the good gun. It's a square butt. But I wondered if there was space enough at the back of the trigger guard for Mod.13 or 14 grips. So your answer says yes ! Will it really be more confortable with these grips ?

Does it mean that new mod. 686 2.5" and 3" are 'true' round butt and 4" or 6" are round butt with square butt style grips ?

For 38SPL sport shooting, I find K frame better balanced. But L frame are definitely guns for men !!!
