I picked up a Navy victory on Sunday. It is marked along the top strap only, I paid $700 which I thought was a good deal. I’m very leery of these red letter marked guns because everyone I’ve seen is incorrect.
I can’t tell you how sad I am about the OGCA meetings not being held at the Robert’s Center any longer. I have wonderful memories spent with family and friends at the shows, I’ve met so many wonderful people and have added many great S&Ws as well. I’m honestly crushed over this😢

In all my years of collecting I’ve never seen a model 20 box and I’ve only seen one model marked 20-1 that was an Austin PD gun. I do not know if the box is real but I sure hope it is!
I have a 17-3 that was bought new and immediately sent back to the factory for a nickel a finish. I purchased it from the original owner and that was what he told me. Closest I’ll ever get to a factory nickel k22.
Regardless of factory nickel or not it’s still a very nice revolver.
