Bought my M&P 9C the 4th of July weekend. Submitted rebate and it showed up on the Milano site August 27th. Called Milano, they said they approved the rebate and sent it to S&W in the middle of September for shipment. S&W says backorder'd. I'm still waiting, and frustrated.

My perception is that they are about the same size as the large grip. YMMV. I use the MTAC Minotaur holster. The gun fits well with the CTC and the holster is very comfortable at the 3:30 position.

I have an M&P 9C and bought a Comp-Tac Minotaur MTAC Holster yesterday for it. Wore it concealed in the afternoon and last night. Extremely comfortable at 3:30 - 4:00 position. Uncomfortable while driving with the gun in the holster at that position, but the empty holster was not a bother...

My name finally shows up with a valid entry and 8/27 as the entry date. I think I mailed the rebate 8/8. Now we'll see how long it takes for the mags to get here. Hurry up & wait.

Typically, how long does it take from the time you mail the rebate until it shows up on the link to Milano Promotional? Thanks.

I find the CT grip slightly larger than the medium grip, mainly bacuase of the battery in each side. I have smaller hands but it's still a good fit.

OK, thanks GaryM&P. Mine does not have the stepped sight. What can I expect because of that and should I just send it back to S&W for update?

What does a "stepped" rear sight look like? My 9C is a 12/2009 gun as well. TIA.

I bought the 9mm compact with crimson trace grip factory installed. It's like getting a fourth grip with the gun. You still get the 3 that come with it, but you have to take the CTC grip off to be able to use any of the other ones.

I just bought a Blackhawk paddle/belt holster for mine. I have the 9mm compact with crimson trace as well. I like the easy on, easy off aspect of it and I can wear it in different positions. Good luck in your search.
