I to love watching the old war birds of WWII. My father a WWII Navy Vet. always told me the story about when he left the navy in 48 that he could have bought a new, still in the crate P-51 for $500. A lot of money in those days but still what a thought to have that in a old garage now.
My collection
The collection I have gather over the past 2 years are. Model 39, gift from my father who bought new in 1960 and only goes to the range once in awhile. Model 459 that I use for my duty weapon. Model 908 thats my CC weapon. All great shooters and like others before the 39 really...
Was the high bidder on GB back in November for a 908 @ 95%. Paid $214.00 plus shipping. Have really enjoyed this one but then I really like all 3 of the S&W auto I have.

My 39 no dash
My 39 was given to me by my father who purchased it in the early 60's. Never has been in a holester and still looks new. Over the years it probably has had 1000 rounds through it. As far as accuracy I think it's easier to use given equaly range time then my 459 carry gun.
