Really getting tired of other people's entitlement attitudes.

The only thing anybody is entitled to is their own opinion. Everything else has to be earned.

    Bring Back Mental Institutions

With this latest shooting in Minneapolis, once again a nut job has taken innocent lives. The Dems will scream gun control, but as we all know, it ain't about guns. Its about mental illness and its become epidemic in our nation. Enough is enough! I just sent e-mails to both my Senators, my...

I don't think its big enough to worry about. Leave them alone. If anything, get a set of grips for shooting that fit your hand better. ;)

    Ruger Curiosity?

I like 'em! (y) Maybe not quite as pretty as a Smith, but they certainly know how to dance. ;)

Looks like I have a Problem. Need help.

Had this happen to about 10-15 years ago. Bought a used 2.5" Model 19 off of GB. I was having light strikes and something about the trigger just didn't feel right. Took the sideplate off and discovered that a previous owner had put in one of those aftermarket spring kits and forced the sideplate...

    Garage Sale Drought

Yard sales ain't what they used to be. I remember a time when my wife and I would spend the whole day Saturday going to the various yard sales around here. Sometimes we'd find great bargains. It was fun!. Recently, someone close to me passed away. We had an Estate Sale with his stuff. Advertised...

    Terence Stamp has died

He was one of those actors that you can't remember his name, but when he was on screen, he had your undivided attention.

    Movie firearm question

I get the ScreenPixs channels. There are 4 of them. Regular ScreenPix, Westerns, Action and Voices. They generally show a lot of pretty good, older "B" movies in many categories. Sci-fi and old horror movies are well represented. Panic in the Year Zero is shown fairly regularly. "The Man with...

The Remington R1 is a hidden gem in the 1911 world. I have one. Ain't nothing fancy, just a good, reliable pistol that works. Mine has the best out of the box trigger I've ever felt. (y)

You guys are not doing your part

As a much younger man, I was a drunk. Never quite made it to alcoholic. I never reached the point where I needed a drink. But I was at the stage where, more often than not, one almost always led to one too many. Been dry and sober almost 46 years now. Best thing I ever did. (y)

    PDW's

I have an Extar EP-9 which I guess qualifies as a PDW. Straight blowback 9MM. Light, easy to handle, quite accurate and inexpensive. Honestly, I consider it more of a range toy. Fun to play with, but in a real situation I'd likely grab something else.

    Model 27 - 5" or 6"

I have both 5" & 6". The 5" just feels better in my hands. I much prefer it. (y)

Consorting with the enemy (hey, its better than no consorting at all!) S&W herecy!

If we're gonna consort with the enemy, I have quite a fondness for the old Ruger "Six" Series DA Revolvers as well. I believe the worst mistake Ruger ever made was to discontinue these fine revolvers.

    Basic vehicle tool kit?

Lots of good suggestions here. But be careful, you'll end up with a trunk full if you get all of it. The trick is to figure out what you need and nothing more. ;)
