Can anyone provide more info on this revolver and the custom work completed on it? S&W 10-8 If memory serves, the oval port/compensator was common in the early 1980s. Similar to a PPC revolver except for the 4" barrel and lack of a barrel rib/heavy or slab sided barrel.

Just bought a S&W knife box complete with unused leather sheath, knife was missing. Box is identical to the old blue S&W gun boxes. Handwritten gummed label on the end of the box reads: TR14931. Sheath would fit a blade just under 1.5" wide and 6" long. Can anyone identify the knife and/or...
