Old S&W 910 beater... redone in FDE

No, Josh at Hoover Tactical Firearms (Birmingham, AL). I have a feeling he will be seeing several of my guns in the coming months/years, one or two at a time...

Old S&W 910 beater... redone in FDE

Just to be clear (lest y'all praise me undeservedly!), I had the Cerakote done by a young 'smith at a local shop that recently started offering the service. I did NOT do the finish myself... definitely outside of my personal wheelhouse. :o

Old S&W 910 beater... redone in FDE

Really should have taken a "before" picture of this one, it was ugly... traded into it for next to nothing, mechanically sound but original finish very worn, rear sight partly broken, OEM grips beaten and chipped badly. A new Hogue o/m rubber grip, new sights, and some FDE (with black controls...

Stock Rifles with NICE Stocks-Show your Wood

One of the prettiest "stock" stocks I have ever seen, certainly the prettiest I've ever owned -- an old SAKO Forester in .243: :)

    Show Us your Rimfire Rifles

Show us your rimfire rifles??? Did someone actually say "Show us your rimfire rifles?" :D (I love rimfires, if you can't tell...) My very first rifle was a simple old Winchester 67 given to me by my grandfather, wearing a stock hand-made by his grandfather (and accomplished...

    629 club

I've got a 629 Classic that I've had for years and like very much. I don't have a shot of it by itself, but here it is with one of my 19s cropped from a bigger picture... But my favorite 629, and probably my favorite revolver of any description, in the one my wife gave me a couple of years...

World's most popular shotgun - the Remington 870!

If you are talking about the weapon-light forends on some of mine above, they are made by Surefire, not Blackhawk. Shotgun Forend WeaponLights Not cheap, but they are available to all (not just LEO/MIL) and can occasionally be found used at good prices. Momentary control in a...

World's most popular shotgun - the Remington 870!

I would tend to agree. ;) (That's all of them but a couple of old bird guns, a recent bullpup conversion, and a Serbu Super Shorty still waiting on its stamp... :o)

How do you keep/store your S&Ws

Lots of nice custom drawer rigs posted, very good looking and efficient. I'm a little jealous. :) I used those as well, but mine came from BassPro (I needed several, I had a credit coming back to me there, and they were on sale to boot ;) ). Like many of you I am not a "one brand only guy,"...

    Let's see your U.S. Model 1917 S&Ws!

I have one of the Brazilians as well, but no handy pics of it.

    Tyler T

Similar experience here... I put a personal check and order form in the mail on 7/26 and received all seven (different sizes and finishes, even) in the mail yesterday, on 8/6. Not bad at all. :)

    Just Bought Ruger 10/22

I have been looking at those kits for a while now and I am VERY tempted... how do you like them?

CCW: Keep one in the pipe?

More for me as well. I have owned 22 of them over the years (still have all but two of those) and have carried one every day for two decades now, no plans to change. ;)

Trying to decide what accesories to get...

Somebody had a set on sale recently at a really good price, but I can't seem to find the e-mail or link now... I've never used them (I prefer co-witnessing irons and RDSs), but these were cheap enough I was tempted to try them out on general principle.

    Just Bought Ruger 10/22

Fessed up??? I'd have been BRAGGING to her about it! That was a heck of a find and a great price, congrats.
