I just went to the web site for Tyler T grip and read that his production and shipping has been caught up and he is accepting new orders ( Updated 07-23-12). I read several posts on checks being cashed with no product. I hope this is not the case and if it is I'll move on, any input is greatly appreciated.

I do not think thats the case. I do know they were backlogged with orders for months at one point. I ordered one a while back and it took almost 90 days so just have a little patience.

I mailed a check to them last Wednesday. I will post here if/when I receive the product, hopefully within a few weeks.

I received mine that I had ordered from the old regime after the new management took over. I would say you can order with no concerns. Just my 2 cents.

I ordered 2 of them about two months ago. They came in a less than 2 weeks. I think they have things straightened out now.

I also have a BK adapter. It's not as pretty but I like it. I keep it on my "shooter" model 10.

I ordered three grips in two sizes with three different finishes - about 2 1/2 weeks ago. The check was cashed late last week and all three items arrived in the mail last Saturday. I'd say good to go! Wish I ordered more just because.

Sent a money order for two 3R's three weeks ago today; still no T grip. I'm very dissatisfied that there is NO WAY to contact these people other than snail mail. No phone, not even an email. Why they wanted my email on the order form is a mystery to me, as they obviously must send messages via Pony Express. I hope to get these by the first of next month, or I plan on contacting the Oklahoma Better Business Bureau. The least they could do is contact me and let me know their status; these damn things aren't cheap.

I got my j-frame t-grip from them in under a week back in March.

I've been wondering the same thing for a while, as I need (okay, want) T-grips for some of my more recent S&W acquisitions but had heard of their troubles.

Even though the replies here are mixed, there are enough positives that I think I will roll the dice and mail them a check...

I dropped my check in the mail yesterday to order a size 3R and size 4 (flat black). I'll let you know how long it takes.

I ordered one in January, got it in less than 3 weeks for rd butt K-frame...workmanship is as good as always (I have at least 9 T-grips from various decades)...

Thanks, cowart, my girlfriend just found that number for me yesterday. It was not on their website when I first looked; either I missed it, or he's updated his site. Called him last night and left a voicemail. Surprisingly, my call was returned today while I was at work. He told my girlfriend he had mailed mine a couple days ago; said he had my 3R shiny black in stock the whole time, but the 3R high polish I ordered was what gave him some trouble. Had some issues with his polisher. I'm glad to know they are on the way, and now that he has contact info, I'm sure other folks won't be as upset now, since there's a way to get a hold of them. Now if I could just locate a set of K frame round butt Magnas, circa 1972 vintage to go on my 19-3 snub.....

Maybe we're both blind .

I don't believe that there was a phone # or email address when I ordered mine or when I last checked their site , about 3 weeks ago .

I ordered mine ( a #3 and a # 4 , both high polish ) on 5/28 and finally received them today .

I guess I should be thankful .

But the service is lacking , and if they are having production problems as mentioned then it sure would be nice for them to communicate such .

They were very prompt ...................... to cash my check .

Regards ,
George

Got my T-grip today, less than three weeks from mailing check.

Just picked them up from the PO Box. So, that's twelve days from the day I dropped the check in the mail box. That's pretty good for an all snail-mail transaction.

Similar experience here...

I put a personal check and order form in the mail on 7/26 and received all seven (different sizes and finishes, even) in the mail yesterday, on 8/6.

Not bad at all. :)
