I'm S&W freak , i have bsically all the revolvers i want (yea right). I have 1911's , and now i'm into S&W autos. I bought my wife a NIB "908" a couple of months ago and love it !!!. Now i'm thinking about the SD40. Whats everybodys take on this model , thanks , Paul.

I use Ballistol followed by Mothers Mag Polish on all my guns except my "black guns", they just get Ballistol. It does a super job !.

Is there much difference between the two?.

I use Ballistol on my nickel plated .45 with no problems. You have to be careful with nickel , as it is plated over copper and some solvents get down under the copper and can lift it .I've been told you can use a product called PB Blaster , but have never tried it.

I have a friend that has a "908" for sale. he say's around 100 rounds thru it , looks 90-100%. he wants $275 , it looks new . i know nothing about these litte shooters . opinions please.

thank-you for sharing this , luckily my friends who have had thier children (boys & girls) over there , they have all made it home. it;s just sad... god bless every one of these (our) kids. and what makes me the proudest is their all "enlisted". no runaways that i have heard of , in these wars !.
