I've had 2 made for my 3incher. One from Fist holsters and another from Don Hume. The fist is the better quality, but the Don Hume is the style I now like better.
You've got to have the correct tool for removing/installing the front sight... has to reach into the slide. The rear sight is simple. Push down on the screw and slide the sight to the LEFT. The sight will come right off, but be careful as the screw is under spring tension.
I'm thinking about getting a 619 and was wondering if anyone has any experience with it. I really like the fixed sight gun, but wish it came with a shorter barrel. It seems that S&W only offers it in the 4" model. It's the closest thing to the 681 4" that I already have and love.

If Charter Arms can make a whole new line of revolvers for rimless cartridges, why can't/won't S&W do so as well? I really like the looks of the short barrel 9mm and .45 that charter has coming out...I just wish it had S&W stamped on it! No moon clips, so kinda like the 547's!

Any chance you could make another video showing how to remove the lock from a single/double action J frame. I opened up my 649, and there were a lot more parts then were in yours. I seriously want to remove this thing from my carry revolver.
