    Shooting Chrony for Reloading Validation

I haven't had enough time to tinker with all the settings. I was getting readings with a .41 mag, but not a .22. I have the archery adapter and was able to read my crossbow bolts. Just a little problem. I updated firmware today. So we'll see if that makes a difference. But that might take as...

    Shooting Chrony for Reloading Validation

I had a CED with the IR lights. I only used the IR indoors or in a 'coffin' at matches with a chrono. That's how I believe they are intended to be used. But if it works in bright sun that's great. You won't break anything by trying. I scored a Labradar late last year, indoors I'm having a...

    Warranty card

I have sent guns back to S&W that I'm certain I never submitted a warranty card (or receipt) and they always fixed them. Never a cost either.

    m&p 340

I have a 340 and mife wife shot it once loaded with .38. She much prefers her steel .38s.

    Moon clip revolvers

I definitely would have carried moon clips when I was a cop. Did not know they existed until well after switching over to combat Tupperware for a duty gun. I don't think the department would have approved the modification of my revo to moon clips. But that's moot now. I have a 627 that TK...

    AFG2 Mounting Position

I have an angled red dot on one of my competition (3 gun) rifles. A fixed power ACOG TA-11 sits on top. It's used for the 60 or more yard shots. The RMR is on an angle an is easily transitioned maintaining the same cheek weld. The RMR is used for the close, quick shots. Around here one club...

    AFG2 Mounting Position

Heard that before but have never had a problem. Todd Jarrett did a video on using the mag as a unipod, he recommends it. My afg2 is as far forward on a carbine length gas system as it can be. It's the same distance from the magwell on my rifles with longer gas systems.

    S&W 659 Breech Face Scratch

It doesn't look deep enough to matter. Good job cleaning it up, I don't think my 659 was ever that clean.

    Looking for a new 686+

Bad advice, you might lose your deposit. From the perspective of a LGS owner, why would you suggest sticking a LGS with a special order handgun? I appreciate a nice S&W revolver as much as anybody here, but they are not great sellers. I might have capital tied up in that revolver for months or...
