    ahh - well they came with the gun, as well as the original grips but the Gunshop owner had put theese on and I kept em on as they look and fit better

    Hello, this gun is a 1880 .38 first model - s/n 767 one of 4000 made - yours is a later model of the same gun. if its nice the rate anywhere from 300- 800 but as they are fairly common they are not very expensive (yet) As for a home protection gun.. Id buy something newer, these guns are not...
