just to give an update to my dilemma i called S&W friday and they said they received my 637 for warranty review on oct 30th and it should mail out this coming week...i feel naked w/o it grrr......they also said they had 200 "tooling" errors on same model to repair...cant wait to get it...

How should the inside of the forcing cone appear?.,..pics anyone?,,,,and thanks to all for advise

I called S&W and they said its from the laser and doubts having fouling problem but i can send gun in for review if i want to....can you see the carbon under the forcing cone on the alum matte frame?....any advise to safely remove it?....i tried hoppes elite to no avail
