    Only ammo ive ran was Federal 230grn FMJ, Winchester WB 230grn FMJ, remington 230grn JHP. I brought a box of 100 federal 230grn fmj to the range yesterday and she jammed almost every mag... Last time I was there, she failed to eject a few times. Steve

    Factory ammo, no reloads. The recoil spring is probably 24 years old. Extractor was clean, I clean my firearms after every rang trip.. 14 rounds later this issue happened.. I was thinking the slide was moving back too hard an pushing the round in the magazine forward an the extractor was missing...

    thats what was strange. He'd empty the magazine and as soon as the slide locked open the magazine would drop. you werent able to put in a empty magazine WITH the slide opened. but once you closed the slide, the magazine stayed in. :confused:
